Tygem counting cheat?

Post by Tapani »

Are there some dirty tricks with the Tygem "counting" tool?

First. People keep requesting to count all the time, several times per turn. Possibly to distract the opponent (me) with popups. Any way to disable those?

Second. Even if the pre-mature counting says that I win with X, and I accept - still my opponent gets the wins! This is rather annoying.
Curiosly, the amount opponent wins with is exact the same amount as I was supposed to win with, and our clocks end up showing exactly the same time!

There are childish, fragile minds on Tygem just like everywhere else. Don't let yourself get hung up on it. You know if you've really won or lost.

Thanks for the encouraging response. You are right of course. Maybe I take it too seriously.

When I began playing on Tygem I was using the Chinese client and didn't know all the characters. I played a difficult game but had prevailed by around 20 stones when it came time to pass. Fortunately for my opponent, I selected Resign instead! No worries.
