Chinese Go Club in Toronto!

Hello everyone. If you live in or near Toronto, good news.

Some of you may remember CPAC Go club, a Chinese Go club in scarborough, located at Finch/Midland, 4168 finch Ave. East.
On Saturday, July 24th, a Go club within the same original building will begin. It will be on the third floor. i believe it is room 322, but if you know the sound of Go stones, it will be easy to find. You can see into the rooms through the glass anyway.

Every Saturday 6-10pm, or later...
In the past, there were many members, several even 6 or 7-Dan level, and at least 1 or 2 players that level will usually be there now.

The meetings will be Saturdays 6-10pm, and there are nice Chinese restaurants nearby. Many players have already told me they'll come, and several of my friends from U of T Go club, (1 Dan, 6 Dan, 5 Dan) Will almost surely be attending regularly once they're back in Toronto, and I think the others will too. My gmail inbox is full of mails of interest.

Players of all levels are welcome. There will usually be some study material there brought by club members such as myself, and everyone is encouraged to bring some. You can also bring your own game records in for review, and anyone who has time would probably love to help you improve.

By ttc, you can get there from Finch station via 39 bus (Not sure if they all go there, but I take 39D), and you can also get there from Kennedi station via (57?) bus.

Wah! That is nice news. One question: how is the situation with parking space in the area?

Edit: The Club is not called 'CPAC Go Club". For now it shall be called 'Toronto Go CLub' even though that makes two with that name. I refer to it as FInch/Midland Go club or Chinese Go club. We need a permit to call it 'CPAC' like in the past, but it is associated with Toronto Go school, not with CPAC now.

The first meeting was great! more than triple the expected players!
