This is a good lesson for me.
I played a 6 kyu OGS, which is about 2-3 stones stronger than me.

Luckily the other player wanted to review after the game and we did some variations and some reviewing. But maybe others also have their light to shine on my mistakes and allow me to learn from them ;)

Mistake was probably made at move 17? R13 would make more sense.
I was thinking treating R6 lightly and not answering the kick would also have been better, can someone confirm this?

Thing to learn from this game, so far:
Go in general
1) if you're running with 2 weak groups, something went horribly wrong (what a useless lesson :D)
2) be weary of jealous moves. R6 was probably folly.

Personal problem
Don't play faster when things get tougher. It's not like a fight in realtime. For some reason I play superfast when I'm in a tough situation, like my opponent can strike at any moment. While I could take a minute to think about it and read it out!
The moves between roughly 60 and 70 are perfect example.
On the other hand, I played way slower trying to make my group live in the end. Irony there is that I had the living variation in my head, but upon doing a check, I misread it and then did it wrong. My double check double-crossed me

On move 17 my first instinct is to invade at R3. This is often called for when White has made two extensions from a 4-4 point. This is especially true here because White's stone at R10 is low so the wall that they end up making facing that stone will be less immediately effective.

:b17: Standard invasion is R-04. But my first thought is R-13. Black has the edge with 6.5 komi.

:b21: is fine.

:b23: First really bad play. Adds fuel to the fire. Black can sacrifice these two stones. Maybe N-05 or N-04.

:b25: Heavy. The rule of thumb is "One eye and access to the center", not "No eye and hope to escape". ;)

Thanks, interesting ideas.
Hadn't heard of that rule of thumb yet! No eye and hope to escape seems more my style, though

"One eye and access to the center" goes back at least to Korschelt, who apparently got it from Murase Shuho. Pros do not always follow it, but presumably they know what they are doing.

White looks too thin for move 32. I think that you could have responded more aggressively.

White can't defend both threatened pushes at 'a' and 'b'. He loses in all lines that I analyzed.
