most say go takes a life time to master.
me? i have a different problem. i can't keep my hands off the game.
i recently challenged leela, with a 60 point Canadian handicap, and she mopped the floor with me.
it makes me wonder if there is an optimal strategy.
I've thrown every opening at it that i can think of, and lost every time.
I've decided to try something different, playing leela against itself, and try to learn from the game.
i suspect it won't help much, but every little improvement matters.
the immortal game
