Hi I reviewed this game with Katago by myself but I am struggling with a conclusion for it because I feel like it is weighted towards the fighting in the center.

Especially the move K13 suggested by the AI over and over again. It has to be so important on move 99 but I just can't find a reason why.

My naive assumption is that it gives me the needed points in the center to win.

Can someone help me understand this move and maybe give me a pointe that I can take with me?

The group H14 only has one eye. If Black plays around K13, then Black can loosely connect the H14 group with the safe group N11. At the same time, Black can hope to make a few points in the center. Conversely, if Black plays elsewhere and if White has a chance to play K13, then White separates the weak group H14 from N11, so by attacking BLack, White puts stones in the center and may take a few points there.

You didn't mention what side you played, but I assume you are Black.

Around move 99, your black group on the top H18 is not alive. And the white group next to it, even though it captured 4 black stones, is not 100% alive. And the white group on the left around R10 is not alive either. So there are 3 weak groups in the center area. K13 or K14 peeps make your top group stronger, and surround white's group more.

This was probably more clear earlier in the game, e.g. move 66 doing something around K14 instead of the corner S16. At this point white's right side group is weaker (not forced out to the center as far.

Thank you very much!
Yes I was Black, sorry.
Now that you mention it, it's kinda obvious. A peep/forcing move seems perfect for saving/supporting the Group H14...

I suggest a totally different direction of play starting with your move 51.
Moves 51 through 54 are forced. You get the corner in sente.

Now he has two weak groups. You have - in theory - a breakable keima, but the corner has eye space and the 12th rank stones have plenty of room to run
