Hallo!

Is there any "weak" engine for Sabaki available? One you can play against?

Thanks a lot!

Go players usually call go engines "bots" (I suppose from robot => gobot => bot). Some include modern AI with that term and others don't (I don't).

I read in several places that the 2008 "Aya" bot is fairly suitable to DDK players https://senseis.xmp.net/?Aya.
Link to zip file with executable and other assets like a help file: http://www.yss-aya.com/aya634e.zip.
Aya supports GTP (Go Text Protocol), so you should be able to use it in Sabaki.

Aya's level is about 8k KGS (comparable to about 1400 Elo in chess according to my estimates), so when you are about 12k KGS, you may need to take some handicap to beat it.

Note: Don't confuse the 2008 "Aya" bot with the 2013 "AyaMC" bot from the same programmer, because AyaMC is already 2-3d KGS level (comparable to about 2000 Elo in chess according to my estimates)

Caveat: I think most go players would recommend against playing bots exclusively, because it doesn't prepare you well for human opponents.
Bots tend to have exploitable weaknesses and these are different and more predictable than the weaknesses of human players of the same level.
Also, you'll find much more variation of style in human players. So when you get used to Aya's steady playing style, you may be ill prepared to face the more extreme playing styles of human players of the same level.

Not exactly Sabaki, but I think KaTrain might be helpful for you, since you can play against a weaker, rank-tunable version of KataGo.
