- Tabbed Game Windows; No explanation is needed.
- Edit/Create SGF File in Taskbar; Duplicate the functionality of these splash window buttons in the KGS:Rooms window taskbar so you can keep the splash window closed.
- Game Result Message in Chat Window of a Clone Game; A simple "White/Black (XXX) wins the game by..." in the chat window would be nice, especially in the case of resignation. As it is, there is no way of knowing in a clone if the game ends by resignation.
- Buddy Chat in Chat Window of a Clone Game; If a user on my Buddy List makes a comment in game chat, post it to the chat window of the clone. Along with the above suggestion, this would make clones good replacements for the original game sans unwelcome kibitz.
- User Rank Displayed in Non-Game Chat; In certain rooms, it would be nice to see the user's rank, e.g. in the KTL when a user asks for a review or teaching game.
- Timestamp in Non-Game Chat; After a period of silence following activity in a room's chat window a timestamp should be posted.
- Game Comment Window Display in Demo Games; In Demos, there is a Game Comment tab under Options > Rules. I think the contents of this tab should be displayed above the chat window. This would allow a scribe to post answers to frequently asked questions during a relay, e.g. game results, round information, &c.

Some of these have been made before, but I believe a few are original. The purpose of this post is just to express improvements for KGS from my experience using the Cgoban client.

Yeah, its amazing that timestamp isn't implemented at least as an option. Thats one of the things that irks me the most about KGS.

I mean it should be shown in all rooms because it will be helpful in certain rooms and not be a problem in any room.
