After about five years of play, I finally managed to breach 9 kyu with this game:

Re: 10k v. 8k
Move 12: k18 is probably best.
Move 14: still k18
Gotta go...more later

Re: 10k v. 8k
About White's invasion in the lower left corner:
move 188: this was your mistake, if you play this at B1 white cannot live. If white takes your stone and ataris the next you just connect.
Here a diag. to show you:

Re: 10k v. 8k
BTW, congrats on becoming SDK.
More about move 12: as a general rule, your first choice for responding to a 1-on-1 contact move is to hane. In this particular instance, it assures you a connection underneath, and is the only move.
36: Good move!
44: You don't need to take. Is it going to get away if you don't? Better is O11.
48: Force him toward your strength. Try S10 or S9.
58: Much better direction. It forces him against your wall. A slight improvement would be the shoulder hit at K11.
64: A bit too conservative. P10 and Q7 are miai. K10 or K9 continues the attack, pushing him toward the wall.
72: He's getting out. You have to play G13.
76: The right idea - push him toward your strength. L9 would be even better.
80: You speak - twice - of making territory with handicap stones. This is inefficient. ( See http://senseis.xmp.net/?HighAndLowMoves or http://senseis.xmp.net/?HighOrLow )
He can invade at both 3-3 points.
It is better to think of building influence, which allows you to win fights, which eventually becomes territory.
82: This is the correct direction, IMHO. You have far greater influence thatn he does, so fights will favor you. Thus you want to split his stones so that you will have multiple targets.
86: This lets him start connecting his two weak groups. Just play M3, keeping him separated.
120: J3
122: He's connected. You are connected ( L4 and M5 are miai ) How many points is this worth?
It is time to call off the attack. He got away, but you got a bunch of influence in return. C8 or C9 stakes out a bunch of territory, and if he contests it, you will crush him with your newly-acquired influence.
126: This is at least the third time that you are attacking from strength. ( And, FWIW, you short yourself on liberties while doing so )
Work from the other direction. Push him toward your strength. Look at moves like C6, C7, C8, and D8.
140: Yes!!
162: You're right: it is not needed. You are way ahead if he tries a liberties race. ( It is 4 liberties vs 10+ )
186: A2 kills.
189: Note that he got both 1-2 points, and lived.
214: Subdivide your territory with B11.
232: Good move.

The above comment is correct. It does kill. But there is a ko which can be nuisance:
Black only has one eye, and has to eventually win the ko at A3/A4.
Better is to get one of the 1-2 points like this, one move earlier:
...and you have a clean kill. ( B1 and D1 are miai, as are A1 and B2, and A3 and A5. )

Re: 10k v. 8k
Thanks for your comments guys!
Regarding
, I even considered G13 during the game, but worried about potential fighting arising after W plays G12. I mean on review it looks like I can just respond with atari at G11, then follow up maybe with nose tesuji or an extension from G11.
Thanks for looking at the lower-left corner too. I'm still a little shaky sometimes with that kind of close-quarters fighting.
