I can't yet find any information in the 1st one, but the second one is underway, with little notification.

Cathy Li 1p and Irene Sha 7d (both Canadian) are playing now on KGS

edit: apparently, this is the Canadian qualifier for the N.A. qualifier

so far its like this:
TD: games are scheduled for 8pm (eastern), unless you have schedule conflict
A: can we schedule for 1pm?
B: no, I can'y play then, let's keep the original schedule at 8pm?
A: I can't play then, how about 3pm?
B: no, I can't play then, we'll play at 8pm

And of course, China was expecting results from us yesterday, the "28th" (our 28th is their 29th).
And somewhere in there, there was a request to reschedule for Thur the 29th (2 days late)

I'm not on all the threads... these are just the few I've seen

This is one of the reasons I dropped out of the online TD business

so the final game could be anytime between now, and 5 hours from now, or tomorrow, or never?

http://doodle.com/ I've never actually used this, but I believe the premise is that you fill in all your available times and it just schedules things for you.

If I had actual appointments in real life, I'd probably use it.

Cathy Li 1p was unable work with the game schedule, and so was unable to defend her title tonight.

Feng Yun 9p wins by default, and will represent North America in the 2nd World Women's QiongLongShan BingSheng Cup in China next month.

Both players were 1-0 before tonight.
Cathy Li 1p defeating Irene Sha 7d Sunday night, and Feng Yun 9p defeating Yinli Wang 6d last night.

How can they fail so badly that they are unable to schedule a game ?
