wbaduk 21 kyu 5400 /KGS 9 kyu
problem #157 46 right first try
the update:
my new approach to go is working out a lot better for me i play better
when i don't look at rank, time or score i just play
all i look at now is the board;
so i am missing comments

but my go is better becuase of it
my current go habits are
tsumego & actual games & watching good players play &
im also following Magic Wand's malkovich games, its great
i play alot more on my phone with on cyberoro & IGS
i'm currently 17 kyu IGS & 20 Kyu cyberoro
also im doing go problems on my phone & watching pro games
im just on my phone so much because of school
but i still get my go in
i was watching some professionals play on cyberoro blitz
it was funny because they used almost all their 30 seconds
each move but when you watch a 7 Dan play blitz the pace of the game is much faster
that taught me to slow down
realbaduk.com has a good mobile site
so i can read little articles n stuff on my phone
it has some good stuff on counting i have been reading up on
check it out if your always on your phone like me
i haven't got to my lectures or the test room on wbaduk.com
in a minute i will get back to it soon though
i have been playing alot of go, its too much fun
also i have been on gocommentary.com
great videos to watch & great explanations
the Longshi game is my favorite
one day soon i will get GOGOD and go through more
of his games i like his style
"the best defense is a good offense"
its amazing to see the ancient games
because they look so modern
i want to learn more about Longshi but i cant find anything online...
anyways gotta get ready for the day, see ya
i haven't posted any games in a minute
this was yesterday wbaduk
after talking to my opponent i found out he was EGF 13 kyu
he said i was probably like 15 kyu EGF
i was going to ask why he was two stones stronger than me but then my second thought was
who cares anyway
i told him i was 9 kyu KGS & he says KGS rankings are soft on Kyu players & hard on Dan players
and IGS has better a ranking system, all round.
i got a chance to share my philosophy on how kyu ranks don't matter and when you reach shodan on any main server it all seem to even out anyway, so why bother
i ended up wining he made a great comeback at one point i was ahead by 100 points, i got lazy and overconfident and in a few moves it was back even, so it was fun
this was today KGS
this guy was great his solid opening had me worried
but i just did what i could and ended up out reading him
thank go for tsumego
