At some point I'll stick in a bye.

BTW, ordering of the pairings in my lower bracket post is random. If you read too much into it, you'll get noise turned into data. In other words, the implied fourth round pairings in your bracket structure are not necessarily accurate.

Then could you put pairings up ordered from now on? I'd like to keep rearranging the brackets to a minimum.

Unfortunately, I'm currently rather busy and will not have time to play, so I forfeit.

Kirby won against f4223n354 by resignation.

Here's the game record:

After the game, we both agreed that we played too quickly! :-p

I will try to play a higher quality game next time.

Yeah. Though, I was way too aggressive this game, and the right side should have died - and the bottom right corner. If that happened, I probably would not have won.

Thanks to chradh for the game :salute: .
during the whole game i felt without purpose... again i failed to attack weak stones.
just read the live comments form laman and mef:
- it seems we played a whole joseki .. weird i only knew about C8 an it was one of the first time i played it. then C5-B5 D6 D7 C7 B6 are logical, but i wondered if i was supposed to have the ladder to play that.
seems that josekipedia does not mention it as needed.
the real luck is D10 which seems to be joseki. i wasnt sure about that move when i played it.
:w24:@C13. is it normal to extend the right ? or should i played something to harass more the E 7 stones ?like G6 ? i wasn't sure of the direction so i played elsewhere
:bO3: i dont like it much it gives me influence against E7 even though i didn 't use it well i feel.
You need i think to find something that helps E7, but i am not sure what. any ideas ?

:w39: slow and stoopid. G6 i guess ?
:w47: starting from there i was unhappy: B group is too strong, where are my points ? (Mef seems to agree)
:w58: Mef: i do have an ugly shape but what should i have done ?
:b67: the fight here is lost for black better to let it be that would leave more aji. Now i was happy again, even though you got to G17 first

:b71:@C16 : good it is big and i felt i had to answer locally to avoid being under pressure.
Maybe i should have play b16 before L 15 ? maybe :b71: @ B17 would have left less yose aji

:w74: feels both small and slow . i felt i let the game slip during :w74:-:w84: due to slack play
:b85: now i felt behind again i should have helped those 2 stones more.
:w94:@C17 : not sure about that, i got some points on the outside in sente which was the plan, was it a good idea ? maybe there were a better defense by black ?
for the rest my endgame sucks... again i felt i was too slack
:w146: sadly forced i think
and at the end i missed a seki that would have change the game result :blackeye: .. i have seen another variation if you dont play B3 and i didnt look further when you did.i ll try to not do that again.

well i dont have much suggestions for Black but you won the game after all :)

Daniel and I played our game. I won by resignation. The game was really close, and during the review of the game, we both agreed white could just reduce, keep sente in endgame and win. White decided to invade however, and after the dust settled, black was ahead enough to take the game. I had a lot of fun, and would like to thank daniel for the game and review afterwards.
