You end up with a very poor result in the top left, and a substandard one in the top right. It all starts here. Play H17 immediately: this is how to punish Black for playing away.

- no, jump out at E14 now. This sets up further plays, such as C7 and helping the J17 stone.
- if you do anything on the top side, I think it should be M17. If Black answers this at E16, you'll have made a poor exchange (see Ed's comment).
Incredibly slow for this stage of the game: an endgame play really.
All three white groups in the top half of the board are overconcentrated.One can refuse to become overconcentrated, by the way. For example
could be immediately at E12. By comparison, 
is just horrible: 13 stones played for 5 points, rather than 12 for 3. You could play a ladder-breaker instead.
