There is a tennis player Vitas Gerulaitis who lost 16 tennis matches in a row. After he finally won his quote was:
"And let that be a lesson to you all. Nobody beats Vitas Gerulaitis 17 times in a row.

Clearly if you have a single loss before getting to shodan, you aren't suited for go and should find something else to do.
(It should be obvious, but just in case, this is a joke).
