You put up an impressively good self review indeed! My conclusion after viewing this game: losing your group on the left side was just too big of a loss. After that, you kept fighting nicely and came back quite a bit, but the game had simply become too difficult.

But, I think you were much too pessimistic in judging the weakness of your group! In go, it is simply very very difficult to kill entire groups if their owner uses them smartly. Let's look at the position after move 42. Imagine that you're white... I personally would be frightened as hell by all the possibilities black has! To begin with, you can just cut at H12. After he cuts back, maybe you attach a stone at G14, then he has two separated chains... Quite dangerous! In situations like these, don't despair, but calmly look at ways to fully exploit all the aji (=latent threats) in white's position. Make it difficult for him! Besides, if the entire group dies like it does in the game, you're probably not going to win the game anyway, so you might as well try to somehow pull off something risky, right? If, in the progress of pulling out your group, white gets some compensation, that's OK. The group should not have died entirely though...
