Seems interesting. Do you know if it is still going on? I couldn't post unless I joined the group and I am still awaiting approval of my request. I wonder if it is only for UCI students...

I'm not really sure where. Maybe just somewhere with really big tables. I was thinking maybe saturday nights or something. maybe around the Irvine area.

I found an active UCI go/chess club. They have meetings Tuesday 5-7 and Thursday's 7-10 non UCI students can go. Those times are for this quarter only they will probably change in the future. They meet in hh108

I just got back from a meeting at the UCI　go club. Unfortunately, the quarter has ended, and many students are either away or taking exams so there were only 2 members + me and my uncle. One of the guys was more of a chess player but the other guy was a 10kyu go player. We had some fun games. Anyone in the Irvine area should come and check it out. It is in the Humanities Hall at UCI room 108. I'll be there on Tuesday 5/29/2012 and Thursday 5/31/12. Or you can come when school starts up again in the Fall. I think there are several dan-level and SDK level players that come. Anyone is welcome
