That's not quite the idea in the OP. It's not to get someone introduced to Go. It's to get them to do Go problems without being introduced to Go.
It's impossible to do problems without being introduced to the rules of play. The tutorial I suggested is a very nice step-by-step problem-based introduction (capture,double atari,ladders,nets,eyes and so on). Even my ex-gf liked it though she had no interest in go at all. Give it a try ;)
You do realize that almost everyone started through that site? It's no news.
