Ina is an extremely gifted emoticon artist, IMNSHO, and she allows people to use them freely in forum posts. If a forum owner wants to include her emoticons in the forum repertoire they should contact her and ask beforehand, as explained (in German) here.

Maybe someone noticed but I left the go scene about two months ago because it is too dangerous . I broke my finger about one year ago. No kidding. But seriously: I got myself addicted to bridge and last year I broke my figer playing basket play. I wanted to pick up a ball rolling slowly to me. I misjudged it's speed and broke my index finger. I am sure I'll return to go later. Have a look at BIC "Berry's internet club" if you like bridge. You'll find me under satie with an ELO of 2020 at this date.

cyclops, I'm confused. Are you talking about bridge with the cards? What is basket play and what is the rolling ball? Thanks.

i broke my finger playing tennis...
try to catch serve with my bare hand (i should have had catcher's mitten )
i have to wait till my insurance approve my referal...
since it is a holiday i have to wait till tues..
and..make appointment again and setup surgery date.
that will be another week...
meanwhile i am healing wrong way..and they will break my finger again to correct them later..

That's horrific. I'm so incredibly glad to live in Canada...

There's a bunch of videos I can't watch online (for no good reason) and need a proxy for. I can't participate in any good contests. Having anything shipped to me, when possible (which is rather rare) costs $30 extra.

But dammit, when I break my finger I get medical attention within the day and it's free.

But in Canada you have to pay tax, even if you are rich.

U.S. current medical system is far better than that of Canada.
Problem is that we are changing slowly in to that of Canada.

reason why i can not go to any doctor is because i work in Military.
i will need 3 separate referals which take time to get approved. (one week usually)

FYI,
I am scheduled to have surgery tomorrow.. pray for me please.
but it already healed wrong..bent.
they will need to break it again.....
i will put update after the surgery.

I`m sure you`ll recover just fine, but remember that Django Reinhardt, Tony Iommi and Jack White have all done more than brilliantly despite some heavy duty finger injuries.
