A new video of Go Eye. Hope you enjoy it
Life in 19x19. Go, Weiqi, Baduk... Thats the life.

RO support would be trivial. Will add it to next release.ez4u wrote:Cute video!
Meanwhile... Could I request that you add an option to display lists with the most recent games first? I import way more games than I can study while they are in the 'recent' list. After that I am always confronted with the January games first when what I really want are July games.![]()
GoEye does not support the sgf round tag, RO[]. As a result only games that have (incorrectly) included the round number in the event name, EV[], display that info. Most of the Go4Go games seem to follow the spec correctly and put the round in the proper tag, see the Changqi Cup or LG Cup games for example. So some day when you are not too busy...
Because I subscribe to Go4Go, I have several hundred 2014 games already and import each weekly zip file. The games disappear from the 'recent' list much faster than I look at them. Nevertheless, I am usually looking for the more/most recent games. Searching by date, event, or player are all inefficient because 1. I do not even know which dates, events, and players are included and 2. I am browsing not looking for anything specific. So my general preference would be to choose to have the lists appear in descending order by date rather than ascending.GoEye2012 wrote:...
Not quite clear about the most recent games first question. Do you mean their displaying order in "All Games"? The "recent games" shows in descending time order already. For all games, their orders can be adjusted by users when dragging up and down. So they are not in time order.
BTW: You could search by year, month, and day. e.g., searching games in 2014/7/1, you could just search "2014 7 1" in main page's search bar (or in All Games).
For crash issue, are you sure that you update to latest version (1.6.2)? And pls attach the SGF file causing crash. Or it would be appreciated that you could send the crash log.ez4u wrote:Because I subscribe to Go4Go, I have several hundred 2014 games already and import each weekly zip file. BTW, the latest release (or the last couple IIRC) has become unstable on my iPad2. At least half the time when I select a game the app crashes rather than opening the game. I have to try several times before the game opens successfully. The same game can take up to 20 seconds to open on the 'pad versus 1 second on my iPhone 4s. I have a little under 1,600 games on the iPad versus 750 on the iPhone. One thing that may be relevant is that I have a lot of duplicate games on the iPad. This is because I regularly download single games from Go4Go or other web pages and then each week I import the Go4Go weekly update into a separate 'go4go' group (not for any good reason, I just started out doing it that way). Could this be causing a problem? In contrast the iPhone is all about instant gratification so I do not import the weekly update.
Haha that's a good oneoren wrote:Really huge images?
Sorry was quite busy. Didn't catch up with this. Btw I will be using it again to try out once more.GoEye2012 wrote:I tried on iOS 7.1 and was unable to reproduce this. Which iOS version and device are you using?jenson wrote:Spotted a problem. I have a group I created and named it as test. BTW: Something cool is coming
We had a quick fix for iOS7+ and it is out. iOS5/6 devices might still have the problem. So backup your app before update for iOS5/6 users. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.GoEye2012 wrote:JUST FOUND THERE MIGHT BE A CRITICAL PROBLEM.
