Ive been playing mainly on KGS ever since I found out there were alternatives to Yahoo go. Ive tried turn based servers like DGS and Littlegolem, but I quit since I think too much about unfinished games which is bad for my daily life and my sleep.

I'm kind of slacking on my SCII game observing, but definitely will keep an out on these two. I believe I've seen a few games where they do some amazing things. I mostly(and randomly) watch the day9 livestream as his commentary is informative, without being completely confused all around. Not to mention, he also does English commentary which is a nice change. He also obs and comments the ZOTAC(european tournament) games. There was an amazing 1v1(one of the ZOTAC semi-finals/finals games) where there was a base exchange, and then turned into a race between the two. GEE GEEEEE!

KGS is not necessarily better, it just depends on what features you expect from the server. Diversifying servers is not a bad idea since there are different playing styles. On IGS joseki knowledge seems to be stronger than fighting capability, and on Wbaduk it's the other way around. KGS is somewhere in between these two extremes. It's cool to have this experience

I play ranked actively on Tygem. I'm also on KGS, but generally only play teaching or learning games there. I like KGS' atmosphere of study and learning, but I like the quick, anonymity, and different styles you can find on Tygem.
