Re: Sabaki SGF editor
Hello Jnkstry, I'm glad you like the tatami background! It will be shipped with version v0.15.0 of Sabaki which will be released next week or so...

That is great news. The all-wood-look was the only small thing i wasnt to happy about.yishn wrote:Hello Jnkstry, I'm glad you like the tatami background! It will be shipped with version v0.15.0 of Sabaki which will be released next week or so...
Will the animated fuzzy stone placement be implemented as well?

just downloaded v. 0.15. Love the look. Being able to make a library with selected games and adding kogos joseki lib. makes sabaki awesome looking and super useful.
playing with pachi 11 is a blast.
one thing. i have the photorealistic theme and would like to go back to standard. how can i do that without losing settings and stuff?

Re: Sabaki SGF editor
Thanks! As for the userstyle, simply remove styles.css from the application settings folder. It won't change any settings of Sabaki.

It worked. Thanks for that.
One more thing: I can't seem to save added games in the "manage games" section. i added kogos joseki. after i restart and look for it in the "manage games" section it is gone..
Is this a known bug?

Re: Sabaki SGF editor
It's nothing that I know of... Can you reproduce the problem? If yes, please describe the steps leading to this and what you would expect Sabaki to do.
Keep in mind that games in 'Manage Games' are tied to SGF files.

1. open sabaki
2. manage games
3. add existing game
4. i chose a sgf file (i tried kogos joseki sgf and several games i downloaded from gogameguru, ogs and kgs)
5. close sabaki
6. restart
7. manage games
8. no games are in the library
i want to try and completely delete sabaki and reinstall it.
is it enough to remove the %appdata% folder and the folder that i unzipped sabaki to?
i would love to have sabaki as my studying library

Re: Sabaki SGF editor
Using OS X 10.11 -- found ~/Library/Application Support/Sabaki, but removing styles.css doesn't do anything, as it's recreated each time Sabaki is launched. It's blank anyway, perhaps this isn't the right way to remove the realistic style?yishn wrote:Thanks! As for the userstyle, simply remove styles.css from the application settings folder. Also found the game library is reset each time; games that have been added haven't been moved, but don't show up under "manage games"

Would be great if Sabaki copied and stored the added games or sgf files in an own folder. so it wouldn't matter if you move the original sgfs. all neat and clean then

Yes, style.css will be created, but if style.css is blank, Sabaki won't change the default styles.fireproof wrote:Using OS X 10.11 -- found ~/Library/Application Support/Sabaki, but removing styles.css doesn't do anything, as it's recreated each time Sabaki is launched. You seem to have the wrong idea of 'Manage games'. It's not for building your own game library, but to save multiple games within one SGF file. Sabaki is a SGF editor after all, not a database. You can of course create a SGF file with all your games saved within that file; loading that file will also load the games saved within.
I'm afraid Windows Vista is not supported.Jaafar wrote:Does not work on Vista

Re: Sabaki SGF editor
As written above, Sabaki is not intended as a game library manager. However, you can do the following:Jnkstry wrote:yishn wrote:It's nothing that I know of... Can you reproduce the problem? If yes, please describe the steps leading to this and what you would expect Sabaki to do.
Keep in mind that games in 'Manage Games' are tied to SGF files.

1. Create a new file
2. Add games using 'Manage Games...'
3. Save file in your favourite place, such as 'library.sgf'
4. Next time you want to have your saved games ready, open 'library.sgf'
Don't forget to save the file every time you add/remove games. Also keep in mind that the loading of a file takes longer, the bigger your file is.
To deinstall Sabaki it suffices to remove the folder you unzipped to. To remove all settings you have to remove %appdata% as well.

Thanks for the detailed reply.
Okay so i must have missunderstood the MANAGE GAME menu. It looked like a library thingy to me. No plans of extending the functionality in this direction?
