As pointed out here , I have begun my dan series on tygem. Now, this doesn't mean I'm finished with wbaduk. I am still going to play the 6dans and, hopefully, 7dans to finish out the series on that server. I am just beginning the tygem series as those low dans make for easier and more relaxed games when I'm in that particular mood.

Another change I'm soon going to have to implement is an archive of older games. Livestream gives me 10GB of free storage. I'm at 8.8 at the time of this post. Some alternatives for older games/lectures are ustream (a livestream like site that, as far as i can tell, does not have such a limit) and vimeo (youtube like site that doesnt limit video to 10:59). I'll keep you updated on which option i decide to run with.

Hope you guys continue to enjoy the videos and, if you have any requests, don't hesitate to speak up!

What about Google Video. It seems there are more longer videos there; although maybe since Google == YouTube, it's no longer the case? Anyway, just a thought. Don't mind me.

And again -- I'm greatly enjoying your videos. Almost makes me want to be a dan player! :)

I'm fairly certain google video is now just a search engine for video around the web.

I think you'd violate vimeo's no video games policy but I'm not sure about that. So if you want to use vimeo you should contact them first.

Hi there,

Not sure if you caught my message on KGS or not, but if archiving is still a problem I would be happy to offer some webstorage/ftp space on my Go website (in sig), but it sounds like you might have an alternative already.

Anyway, thanks again for making the videos, they are very helpful.

Thanks for the offer but, yes, i think i found a solution to my problem.

Update: Vimeo is indeed not an option as they classify such activities as video games which are not allowed.

At the risk of shamelessly bumping my own thread, I thought I'd make mention that the 6dan series on wbaduk has begun.

/I should really just create a twitter account for updates.

Personally, I like the update here when new videos are up. I'll go check them out.

It's as shameless as helping a kitten from a tree.
Since so many people enjoy your lectures, it's A-OK!

Due to storage limitations on livestream, as well as those who cannot stream livestream due to bandwith problems, i've gone ahead and uploaded one of my lectures here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HXKLYB18 for download. In the future i plan on creating a website to archive all past lectures in a similar fashion...just as soon as i learn how to do that.
