there is a difference between being able to write a go book, and being able to write a good go book(see thread title).

If someone publishes a good coffee table photo book of the finest go equipments in the world along with the history of go in Asia, does he have to have a minimal go strength? Probably not, but it won't be the sort of the book you'd read to improve your go skills. (No I'm not planning to do one. Just a hypothetical situation)
