Considering the positions that cats can twist themselves into...
They're all cats.

It's nice to finally be able to leave stones on the board to appreciate after finishing a game or study session.
Pictured: Edgar (aka The Goober), he tends to fluctuate between 18 and 20 lbs.

We got another cat recently so Falstaff has a friend. His name is Griffin. He is the orange one in the following photos.
The two cats get along. Sometimes they sometimes play very vigorously.
A missed left:
A solid right:
Despite the appearances, this is all play. Nobody gets injured.
Sometimes, if the camera gets too close, they will both stop in mid-fight and stare at you.

(Time for the cat lady to shine

)
The notorious cheater, always moving his stone whilst I was not paying attention! Always the cutie, using his famous kitteh-eyes to coerce me into letting it slide.
a daring new technique! by using their TAILekinesis, these fearsome felines were able to move the stone without opposable thumbs

Falstaff is a cutie.
Here's Zelda, breaking in yet another go board acquisition...a folding 'vintage' kaya board I got to go with my vintage glass go stones and bowls.

Zelda could stand to be put on a diet, too, but I have two cats...Zelda would just hog all the food.

I think he's waiting until he sees a box addressed to the land where mice are slow, and he's going to stow away in it.

Falstaff has cheekbones!
As he continues to lose weight, more anatomical discoveries are being made. He is now down to 17 pounds. Someday, I hope to find out if he has ribs.

Here is Falstaff, showing off the barrel chest and lush fur typical of British shorthairs.

He is now down to 15 pounds. That is almost 4 pounds lost since we adopted him early this year.
( BTW, readers may wonder why I note his weight repeatedly. Another characteristic of the breed is hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which greatly increases their susceptibility to heart attacks. So I am not going to let him stay overweight. )
