Good news:
a) There is a new chapter added in the Norwegian translation. Chapter 3 has now been completely translated by the amazing effort of mr. Mikael Husevik and it can be found on the project's website https://www.gobook.eu/. We will move to chapter 4 on our own pace, but till then I'd like to thank mr. Husevik for his great effort
b) In those months I received a full translation rework for the Russian version from Dmitriy Bovichev. A lot of people helped him with so much feedback that I will have to re-typeset the whole book in Russian. Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to do so yet, but I will begin this process "soonTM".
c) Around May I sent all my final printed English versions to the Kenya Go Association, along with two French copies to be given to neighbouring countries that use French.
d) There is another almost full version/translation almost ready on my desk, but I have not completed that either. No spoilers on it yet though.
The bad news:
a) The post office has spiked their prices. As it stands I do not think that I can any longer shoulder the "print books + transport + buy folders + send individual copies to each people" pipeline, mostly due to costs and secondarily due to logistics. I tried getting some Go stores to help out where I'd provide the books for free to them, but that didn't pan out.
b) I missed my opportunity to go to this years EGC. I wanted to meet some people and talk a bit a bit about the project, while giving some copies of the book, but I had to cancel the whole trip.
Hopefully I didn't forget anything.
