Or, if you want, you can watch it through this website: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/chbee

Has anyone tried to pay to watch? Is it worth it? Does anyone know where we can find a list of future broadcasts?

I tried it and had no good experience with the service as I never got a reply to my support query at all.

In my case I bought a daily ticket and started the streaming however 5 minutes afterwards it stopped working for me the entire rest of the 24 hours of TV I bought. I reported this via E-mail yet never got any reply. So I was kinda upset with paying for something I did not get.

I have been observing the website since the day it was offering free BadukTV via Ustream. It worked well and was quite popular even if it had sometimes a day or a week of outtages. However then the website went pay to view. Which at first was set to 25$ a month with a free day ticket to try it out. A few weeks later the price was changed to 1$/day. I tried it out then and when it cut out I wrote my E-mail a few hours later. Checking in the stream site again the owner now had changed the daily price to 2$/day. A few days later it went to monthly tickets of 20$/month again. Last week BadukTV HD and K-Baduk TV (former Skybaduk) were added to the stream. BadukTV HD at 3$/day, BadukTV Normal at 20$/month and K-Baduk at 20$/month or 7$/week. Today I checked back to see if there were other changes and it now charges monthly 20$ for BadukTV normal plus K-Baduk, then 80$ for 6 months for a non-described premium service and 80$ for 6 months of BadukTV HD.

This is the behaviour I have seen from the website. And since my failed try of contacting again I have been waiting to hear a positive feedback from someone else who tried. I have my own suspicion about my lost daily ticket as it seems likely that once prices change currently bought tickets automatically expire.

Anyone can give a positive feedback? I would like to watch BadukTV again. :(

On a side-note afaik it is possible to get a monthly live-stream subscription from BadukTV themselves for 5$/month if you manage to set a up a payment inside of Korea as from outside of Korea it does not work.

I am currently paying for it. I didn't do anything other then throw some money at them for a month of BadukTV and SkyBaduk. When there was an outage that lasted for 4 hours. During near mid-night to 2AM EST, I received a free month of the HD Baduk TV that they offer. The stream quality is not to horrible, it freezes sometimes and the audio click/blips (which I mute anyway). Other then those issues it hasn't been down in about a week. I sent them a strongly worded email regarding the last outage. With any luck they will get their act together and update their servers, as I think they are getting overloaded.

I'd rate their service 3 out of 5 so far. If they get their servers updated, which will take a bit of money to do. Then I would rate it at 4 out of 5 (due to the video freezes and audio crackles I hear).

I hope this info help you guys out.

I'm so sad badook tv is not free.

I had 24h of this channel, and the quality is a little bad, but the programs are quite good.

i'm hesiting , i want to buy a ticket but i'm thinking, the streams are not legal, so the man who receive the money hacked the channel for himself business.

but 80 $ for 6 month baduk TV HD seem very attractive. But for the moment, i'll not pay anything.

We should try to contact Baduk TV directly to see if they will change their policy to let non-Koreans subscribe.

Any word? It might be better if someone wrote to them in Korean, as they are unlikely to respond to English messages. (They may not even be able to do so.)
