naughty = pretty serious charge for a young child
naughty = adults #1 - light-hearted or joking reference to something you probably shouldn't do - even something like "you ate
another chocolate - how naughty!"
naughty = adults #2 - erm, risque plus a bit
And, no doubt, 300 other uses for the same word - we Brits are like that

Ah, I guess I was misinformed.

It's pretty much the same here, though I'm not sure about the first one.
