Ok, I've sort of managed to have my cake and eat it a bit here. I'm now pretty happy with the outcome. Not that profitable, and gote, but settled.

I like quite a few of your hane variations Mark if I'd extended - you actually had a fair bit of scope to play that hane around the head and foot instead of extending first, but some of the reading was pretty hairy I guess. You can now read all my spoiler stuff, and there have been a fair few other comments on what I probably should have done instead of C10, which in hindsight seems kind of bad.

I'm still not convinced that I can't resist more strongly than you suggest with my post #35. It seems Black has too much to gain in that top left. Whilst Black's thickness _is_ very useful, it's a difficult exchange to assess for me...
