Potential
I was tempted to go with shape, but I feel potential sums up shape and so many other things. It tells us why good shape is good and why this thickness is worthless while that could win the game, but above all it is the main source of the beauty I see in go. Strong players create fluid positions full of potential and the way those interact and transform each other is what truly fascinates me.

I was going to say 'negotiation' is a word for good Go because of the Go concepts of of miai and making trades, but I realized I'll never be strong enough to know what good Go is at all!
And then I thought, 'negotiation' probably is OK, because if you can't negotiate and are just crunched and disintegrated without a chance, then that's pretty bad Go.
