1st grader vs 2nd grader--EPIC BATTLE!

There was some fun at the library Go club tonight. After a winter where I was often on my own, lately at least one person (sometimes more) will usually show up to play. Today none of the more regular players made it, but a young boy who lives nearby came in and asked to play. He had played a couple of times before, but I didn't have much confidence in his memory of the rules, so I just played him an even 19x19 game, at which he did a lot better than I expected, and I taught him about eyes and living shapes.
Half an hour before closing time, another young boy who had played a couple of times before showed up to play, and began setting up the board with a 9 stone handicap. I was prepared to play both at once, but they seemed to be hitting it off, so I asked if they would rather play each other.
I had brought my Android tablet along, and used NoGo to record the match, which was fast, and as full of trash-talking and drama as any Hikaru No Go match. Sadly, we ran out of time. Probably the most fun and exciting Go night we've had for some time. ^^
