Life In 19x19

I have, recently, rejoined the OGS 19x19 ladder. Starting at the bottom, I have been forced to challenge players weaker than my own rank (because everyone else has three games already or was nowhere near the top of my challenge-range at the time)... and found that I seem to be playing white all the time.

I thought the ladder gave even games with nigiri and komi - what's up with this? Is this just an illusion?

OGS currently has a bug where it always gives the stronger player (by rating) white in ladder and tournament games.

Also, the ladder is currently broken. You should be able to challenge players not just based on your current position, but also based on your current rating, see: https://onlinego.atlassian.net/browse/SITE-1903

Also: https://onlinego.atlassian.net/browse/SITE-1991 for the nigiri. This was answered saying it would be in the new version they are beta-testing
