Is this likely to work?

http://blog.syshalt.net/index.php/2010/ ... -4-iphone/

First install c-compiler on the jailbroken ipad. Then follow compilation instructions of fuego for macOS to compile
fuego on ipad?

http://fuego.sourceforge.net/mac-install.html

Hmmm, maybe it would make more sense to compile it on the desktop pc to yield an ARM binary.. but I think in the past
I couldn't even get fuego to compile to an x86 executable.

It will depend largely on having all the pieces on the toolchain. I'd bet Boost would not compile, hence, no fuego on iPad. What trouble did you have with fuego? I have compiled it successfully (native) on Mac OS (Mavericks)

Fuego is already available for iPad through the excellent free app ""little go". See : http://littlego.herzbube.ch

It may also be compiled for Mac OS or used under wine.

Indeed, boost did not compile.
Also, I would need some graphical userinterface for it (gogui seems to require java), but 'little go' is very good.. allowing
games against fuego on all board sizes (up to 19x19) and even has advanced settings like ensuring the bot never resigns.
