Conflicts

I figured it's been awhile since I wrote a poem about Go, so I figured I'd share this one:
I fear for my life
Like never before it's so full of strife
And I fear I'm locked in chains
A prisoner to my own pains
There is a feeling of sorrow
Every passing today becomes tomorrow
When I sit before my own mortality
To bear witness to more brutality
The cuts and these scars
Simply remind me how far
I've gone to starve myself of humility
In a desperate search for tranquility
My own desires have become a liability
As I lack the readability
To judge moves of sensibility
The gods have graced me with incivility
Oh how I fear a life rife with pain
There is nothing left for me to gain
As the stain of defeat darkens my soul
The end is nigh and I'll never reach my goal
I fear for my life
Like never before it's so full of strife
And I fear I'm locked in chains
A prisoner to my own pains
There is a feeling of sorrow
Every passing today becomes tomorrow
When I sit before my own mortality
To bear witness to more brutality
The cuts and these scars
Simply remind me how far
I've gone to starve myself of humility
In a desperate search for tranquility
My own desires have become a liability
As I lack the readability
To judge moves of sensibility
The gods have graced me with incivility
Oh how I fear a life rife with pain
There is nothing left for me to gain
As the stain of defeat darkens my soul
The end is nigh and I'll never reach my goal
