Hello from Tacoma

Greetings and salutations. I'm Mike Malveaux in Tacoma, WA, US (near Seattle). I've been Go-inactive recently, and I'm bootstrapping myself back up. I've played for about 20 years, off and on, beginning in Chicago, thanks to John Harriman. Currently my AGA rating is 4k; hoping to make shodan in the next few years. I won't be at the Go Congress this year, and probably not next year, but hopefully I'll be there in 2012.

Likewise, I'm sure. Yes, Washington is a veritable hotbed of Go-ness, so there are bound to be a bunch of us here.

I've missed being around. Life's like that sometimes. Hey, I want to pick your brain about Macs one of these days. I assume you're going to Colorado -- maybe sometime after you get back in August, we can get together?

nah, not going to ba able to make it this year, cause we had to make a trip to Texas this month to visit family
so just let me know when you want to get together and I'll come down to Tacoma for a game

Hey folks -- it's not your imagination; my login name is different now. I was too hasty when choosing a username here, and the Admins kindly consented to changing it to "hilltopgo".
For the record, I was "mikem" here initially; and back at GoDiscussions, I was "wegobad". On Senseis Library, I have been "wegobad" and before that, "takengive". I am now migrating my online Go handles to "hilltopgo."
Sorry for any confusion!
