Does anyone here know more about the problem the site is in?

This has been noted over here. No-one seems to know more than "a server problem" right now.

BLARG! No OGS all weekend.

I wish I could get some info. Closest I could get is the status page on SL: http://senseis.xmp.net/?OGS%2FStatus

Just says "server down for maintenance" posted Friday. No ETA or anything.

I hope the DB is ok!

OGS is back up and everything seems to work just fine!!

Problems were due to a user abusing OGS for spamming... I shall not like to think what I would do to him/her if I ever met him/her...

There was a user spaming but he was not the cause of the outage.

Damien wrote in the System Message:
"There was a downtime due to an emergency maintenance on the hardware during the weekend."

Of course it would be interesting to get to know the real reasons ...
