Life In 19x19

I am having trouble to access many posts today at 19x19. The symptom is that for longer threads with more than one page, only the last page can be visited. Clicking the old pages won't load anything.

They work - and then they don't, then they work again..

It’s a well-known problem here.

Setting “Posts per page” (at the bottom) to show only ten posts should work.

Me too.

I can't seem to view posts like "Go in Shanghai" in "General Go Chat" because it seems to load forever.

I looked at this a little bit, but haven't been able to draw any conclusions, yet.

It's a little difficult because the problem does not repro consistently, so even if we have a fix, it would be hard to verify. Maybe I could try setting posts-per-page to a high value to try to verify the fix. I will see what I can do later tonight, maybe.

We do have mentions of such hard-to-access posts here in several “cannot access” threads, so I’d first set your posts-per-page to 40 and then visit those pages.

Would be wonderful if I could set it back to 20 at least … ♥ for your work!

I see them as 500 errors. Is there any logging happening?

I have recently (past week or so) been receiving occasional 503 errors accessing the unread posts list and other pages that aren't threads. The error seems to clear up in a minute or two if I refresh the page. I don't have a good sense of what's causing it, though, and it's quite intermittent.
