Could we change the "how many posts have you made" lines to something other than [beginner, DDK, SDK, Dan] (or whatever they are)? It seems like they will easily get confused with people's rank.

haha, I think its cute. But you're probably right about the assumptions.

It would actually be cool if we could just edit that line to say whatever we want. Goes well with avatar!

Something that would be pretty cool but might be too much work, is to allow users to enter a KGS name, and have it automatically show their rank via that. Either for display on their user page, or by their avatar.

This is something that baduk.pro already tries to do, though I've had some trouble getting it to display.

I strongly agree that your "title" should not be a go ranking related to your post count, and I think having it be customizable would be ideal. Your post count is already visible.

It's where I would put my (real) rank, given the option. (Similar to Terr's suggestion)

I like the option of being able to modify the text to be whatever you want when you've earned it (usually through post count hitting a certain number). Having a stepping system with "ranks" is fun to have, at least for me.

I kinda like rankings - just throwing out my two cents. Doesn't need to be DDK/SDK etc., though.

I agree. I'll see if I can change this. ( Assuming that Jordus doesn't overrule me )

EDIT: I figured out how to do it. I put in one rank above beginner. More later.
RE-EDIT: I changed all of the ranks above beginner.
