Hi, wondering if anyone have old versions of Gnu Go 2.0, 2.4 and 2.6 pre-built for Windows they'd be willing to share?

Nice, thanks! 2.4 and 2.6 looks to be comparable in strength from what I can see so would only need 2.0 now. Probably harder to get since the source doesn't have windows build options.

EDIT: Looks like that version doesn't work on modern Windows :(

I also got an error message launching 2.6 under wine on Mac. Wine told me to use DOSBOX. Have not tried yet. Did you manage to get a Gui for these non GTP engines ? There is a GMP , ascii and emacs mode.

I also have a build of version 1.2 that works in ascii mode (don't remember where I found it)

Would you be willing to share version 2.4 ?

Thanks

I am writing my own interface. Have gtp 1 and 2 almost completely done. Need to handle final status display of the stones. Gui uses Gnu go 3.8 as a referee and can play engines against eachother or play against an engine. Want to add gmp support to for the older gnu go versions. I don't have 2.4 either, but from what I have read they are of comparable strength. So looking for 2.0 and 2.4 or 2.6. Aware of any windows engines of lower strength, have Amigo and Baduki? Also added gnu go 3.0, 3.2, 3.4, 3.6 and 3.8.

I have collected some old GTP engines from this page:

(but I assume you know this already)
