Spencer, 18, born in Washington State.
After glancing a SciShow video on YouTube of AlphaGo defeating the top human player, something caught my eye: there's a game bigger
than chess. The idea of a game requiring no probability and only pure wit fascinates me, such as the roll of a die or the shuffling of cards. I spent my spring break learning the basics of Go. I immediately drowned in interest and love for this game. I put a pause on playing until this summer break, and I've been training happily ever since. I've even bought a $20.00 board and taught a couple kids at a summer camp!
Can't wait to contribute to this cool community. Thank you for reading!
