Game 1.
He ignored your approach --
did you think about a double approach ( e.g. F4 ) ?
Bad habit. This exchange is good for B.
You fixed his weakness for him, forced him to make good shape,
and to live 100% !
Strange.
- This exchange is good for B.
Without this exchange, B's shape is thinner ( weakness at M17 );
after this exchange, B is stronger ( and W's corner weaker ).
( Similar, but not exactly the same, as - exchange ).

There are other variations after attach ;
this is a good basic sequence to learn.

I wonder about the turn N12...
Now if you continue to push this way, you hurt your own N13 group.
This is a pass, and a big mistake. Can you find a better local move ?
