recently played at national go center

was a very nice room. there wa only one other person there, Patrick, who runs Tuesday go. he said no one else would be likely to come because of the recent go tourney. it was quite warm in the building because the ac was out. but i played two games against him and had fun getting thoroughly trounced.

I didn't know we had a National Go Center. That's pretty cool.
Is it NATIONAL national (like affiliated with the government) or more of a club/facility that's in our nation's capital?

It's a reference to being in DC. I just figure they're big fans of the Washington Nationals.

Yes, the National refers to being in DC although we are fans of the Nationals too.
