Question about GoChild

I've been using this application for the past week or so and I'm loving it. However, aside from solving a lot of problems, I can't really figure out what I'm supposed to be achieving? It feels like I should be growing somehow?

I just completed Intermediate Level -> Lee Changho Basic Training -> Basic Life and Death 220 -> pack 1. I did this in "practice mode" (without thinking too much about that) and accumulated 95 gems along the way. I think I probably got about 90% correct on the first try.

Am I supposed to be solving these problems in the growing section instead?

Growing better tracks progress, and feeds you problems in a semi-random order. You can't step forwards or back or anything, but it will walk you through the section. You get more gems, too. =P

So that's how you got all those gems... I noticed you on the admire page.

I was thinking to myself, how the heck did he get 6000 gems at 1 gem per problem??!

The practice section allows you to view the solutions, whereas growing section does not. Hence, growing section is probably better to use, anyway. :)
