I've been following this rating system for a while but I have no idea how are the scores computed and what data it is based on? Can you please provide some background information?

It's interesting to see Fan Tingyu 9p at #6 on the list. After he was the youngest to win the Ing Cup in 2013, I was expecting he would percolate up to the top a few times since then, even given the fierce competition.

Mamumamu0413 has an interesting site about go pros and apprentices. The rating system uses glicko-2, although I do wonder where the data comes from myself :).

Interesting, Park is still number one on this. Meanwhile, Iyama is all the way down at 44th, which seems a tad too low.

It seems like he includes more games of young Japanese players than your site does (no surprise, he's Japanese), since they seem to shoot up a little more rapidly in his rankings than they do in Remi's. But I've never heard anything directly from him, or seen anyone say what sources he uses.

Iyama has dropped all the way to 55th on Mamumanu's latest ranking.
