Many, many years ago, before I found my first pair of black plastic bowls for my first go set, I used drawstring bags sewn from some old Levis. Later I scored a pair of climbing rosin bags for a portable setup.

I recently stumbled upon these cool little bags, handmade in Seattle. The small holds any sized stone, the large is 8” diameter so could probably hold a bowl and some padding.

Hi, I remember I had the same problem with my first Go set (an all in one, very small, not regular stones, without bowls).
I had found out this product from IKEA: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80328145/

But in the end, I resolved to use a pair of miso soup bowls, since the small stones fits and the feeling was all so Japanese to me :D

Seems it takes two miso soup bowls to hold one set of color stones...
