Many, many years ago, before I found my first pair of black plastic bowls for my first go set, I used drawstring bags sewn from some old Levis. Later I scored a pair of climbing rosin bags for a portable setup.

I recently stumbled upon these cool little bags, handmade in Seattle. The small holds any sized stone, the large is 8” diameter so could probably hold a bowl and some padding.

Hi, I remember I had the same problem with my first Go set (an all in one, very small, not regular stones, without bowls).
I had found out this product from IKEA: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80328145/ But in the end, I resolved to use a pair of miso soup bowls, since the small stones fits and the feeling was all so Japanese to me Galation

Seems it takes two miso soup bowls to hold one set of color stones...

Sorry to gravedig this, but I finally found back my old set. I still enjoy the colour effect.
