Deepmind have released a podcast.
Episode 2 (Titled "Go to zero") deals quite heavily with Alphago and has some interesting descriptions of go from outsider's perspectives. My favourite is:
It's presented by Hannah Fry who I like a lot (she also does a lot of pop maths stuff for BBC radio 4) and I'm actually finding it a really interesting podcast in general.
It would be nice to think it will introduce more people to go, but maybe the same people. Maybe some forum users can think of some cross promotion opportunity?

I don't know if you've ever watched a televised game of go, but as a single stone is placed calmly onto the board, the commentators and the audience watching on react with the same ferocity of emotion and excitement as they would a football game.
