See the game for some comments and some questions for you to answer or think about.
Your attempt at self review was quite good. Here are some more tips for self review at your level: Any time you make a defensive move, consider the worst that could happen if you didn't defend. Play some sample sequences out if necessary. A lot of your defenses were trivially unnecessary. Reviewing is a good time to look over whether things would have worked or not that you couldn't figure out in the game. Also, look for places you took big losses and ask how to prevent that. For instance, white disconnected and killed your 4 stones on move 144. So go back and look for when you could have defended prior to that, and figure out how to make yourself see it next time.
Also, learn how to judge the strength of groups. Aside from basic tactics and capturing techniques and fighting, this is the single most important thing to learn. Use the rule of thumb about bases as a starting point (see comment on move 13). Group can also be safe even with no base if they have a lot of eyeshape, an especially large number of directions to run, or nearby opposing groups are weak, or they can connect to friendly safe groups.

This move does not make a base, even to "nowhere".
A base is a small area that you've loosely surrounded on the side or corner of the board. Having a base means you have some potential space to make eyes, should you need them, and makes a group a lot harder to attack, a lot safer.
The white stones on the right side have a small base, around 4 points. Although this is not much, this makes them hard to attack. The black stones in the lower right have a base of around 10-12 points in the corner. This makes them very stable and strong.
As a rule of thumb, you need around 10-12 points of base, or 4-6 points of base and the ability to expand/develop along the side or towards the center for your group to be stable.
How many points of base does C14 surround? Zero. Now, it's not necessarily a bad move because of this, but it makes "base" completely the wrong word to describe it.

Locally, your move at M3 is better. In general, approaching 4-th line moves on the 3-rd line is better, because you can undermine them. With M3, at the very least you threaten to slide to K2, but even better, you can also invade, and M3 will be in the right place to help you connect under in a lot of variations.
