Hi

In SmartGo, how do I import a folder of tsumego to play through? I love that it has the same functionality as GoGrinder in as far as automatically playing responses but how can I import a folder of problems? I can only seem to add problems one by one.

I sorted it out. Actually it's more complicated than that. What I wanted to do is import my own collection of problems so that they appear under the "Problems" tab, not the "Games" tab. This is because the software automatically puts a tick against problems that I got right, and automatically plays responses to my moves.

I found an old thread by Richard Hunter that said actually it is possible to do this but you need to import the problems as a SGF collection instead of multiple files. So, I used Drago to create an SGF collection, then I renamed the merged sgf file to merge.prb and then opened this file in the "Problems" tab of SmartGo.

I opened a folder with several .prb files and they immediately appeared in the "problems" tab. Could you upload several files (problems) that you had difficulties with? Are these files .sgf or .prb?
EDIT I tried .sgf, they also fall into the "problems" tab. maybe we are discussing different issues?
maybe you have an old version of SmartGo? it’s not clear why it works for me, but you don’t

if the “games” tab is open when adding files, then the files are added to the “games” tab, if the “problems” tab is open, then the files are added to the “problems” tab
