I use one abandoned bitcoin miner machine to run KataGo.
MotherBoard:BIOSTAR tb250-btc d+
CPU: G3900
(It is weak. It will take 1 minute to start enginee, and CPU utilization has always been 100% . The CPU needs to be upgraded.)
Memory: notebook DDR4 8G
(not enough, memory swap space 4-8G is needed. After enginee is loaded, it is OK.)
6 mining cards: P106-090 3G mining card (2.2TFlops*6)
1 video card: GTX1060 3G video card (3.96TFLOPS*1)
------------------------------------------------------------
total:7 video cards (17.16TFlops)
System: Ubuntu
Software: Lizzie (Chinese yzy version, using Java)
Enginee: v1.7.0 OpenCL
Weight: 202004 s227 30B
speed: 640 V/s (at move 57 of a game )
Maximum PCIe Link Speed: 2.5 - 5.0 GT/s
PCIe Bandwidth Utilization: 3-5%
May I say:KataGo is a program of low PCIe communication and high computing?
And the PCIe Bandwidth Utilization of 2060/2060s/2070/2080ti video card is?
Is 2060/2060s/2070/2080ti card need a motherboard of PCIe4.0 x4 or x8 or higher?
Thanks.
