Hello, I played as White and blundered away what was potentially the biggest win of my career!!! I would appreciate a review:

What do you think about your game?
By the way, while you did make a blunder my impression is that the lead up to that showed that the group was already dead. Or more likely black would just let it live and take profit on the top, left, and right while white plays dame.

I dont think my thinking is worth taking into account - the reason I'm asking for a review is so that someone who understands the game better than me can evaluate it.

For both the reviewer and reviewee, it can be very helpful to have the reviewee do a quick self-review of the game beforehand, writing down the main thoughts and ideas that went into moves that you deem were played during important moments of the game.
Essentially, a review aims at improving your understanding of the game. If there are no comments from the reviewee, the reviewer can only guess at why the reviewee made certain moves (sometimes the reasoning will be obvious, sometimes less so), meaning that any feedback will be based mostly just on the moves themselves. Having the reviewee's thoughts and feelings written down helps the reviewer mostly skip this guesswork and directly help improve your understanding of the game.
Additionally, with a self-review you will often be able to find plenty of mistakes that you already know by yourself you shouldn't make, thus making sure that any comment from a stronger reviewer targets things/ideas/concepts that you weren't even aware of.
I presume, at least, that this is the main reason why CDavis asked this.

I just think that if the player posts their thoughts and strategy then a reviewer can say whether they agree or disagree. Maybe a move misapplied strategy but it turned out OK in the game. Or maybe the strategy was correct but the opponent ended up finding a good way to refute it. Many ideas that are right or wrong can't be known from the record itself.
Looking at a record and saying what moves were good or bad is somewhat helpful. But reviewing someone's strategy and game plan and explaining how they could change it or if they had the right idea seems like a better way to improve understanding.
Plus, a self-review can help readers that are weaker than the player even if they don't feel that they can post a review and don't bother to comment.

I would be happy to play with you on OGS. I'm about 12k and enjoy chatting during the game, discussing strategies and tactics. I find that more interesting than beating up on someone or just getting my ass kicked. I am in Boise, Idaho, mountain time, might be daylight saving time so GM -7 or possibly -8.
