Do KGS accounts get deactivated after a certain period of inactivity?

Yes and then some ****** comes and takes them over while you're not looking

No, it is 6 months without a login. I have an account which has not played a game in 7 years and it is still active.

There may be other criteria you need to watch out for. I seem to recall one of my accounts getting deleted even though I'm quite sure I was logging in. Of course I could be mistaken, but my alternate accounts all had games from that period and the account in question is the account I paid for KGS plus on.

For best results, just play a game. The system may hiccup once in a while.

I am planning on making it be longer for accounts that have had KGS Plus subscriptions. People have been upset when they go away for 6 months, then even if they buy KGS Plus again their old lectures are gone. Not sure if I'll get that done in the next release or not.
