Hello everyone,
I was looking for Arabian Go players. But for a long time I didn't play Go cause I didn't find Arabian players. Two days ago, I opened KGS and found "Kuwait Room". Kuwait is an Arabian country. I was so happy

BUT no one was there

. The owner of the room "Nasser". His last game was two months ago.
If anyone know him, please let me know.
WHERE ARE YOU NASSEEEEEEEEER???????

Thank you for igolocal. I am the only one in Saudi Arabia.
About the material, I have some videos for bigginers (30-20k KGS) in
my blog. I spent a lot of time teaching Go. But most of the players didn't continue. So, I made these videos to make my life easier. Also, I explained in Arabic with pictures "how to use KGS?" in details. Cause they don't speak and read English.
About your friends. Where are they from?

Thank you, I will take a look at your material. (My potential go playing friend is from Syria btw.)
I always wish Go can be as popular as tavla / backgammon one day, which is of course unlikely considering that you can play tavla without much thinking... but if you look at a country like Turkey where Go started only 20 years ago and now there are hundreds of players I think it is possible. Good luck!
PS An arabic main room (complete with an arabic translation of the client) on KGS would be awesome. But I don't know whether you can gather the critical mass to do sth. like this.

Insha'allah.
PS is short for latin post scriptum. It is used if you add sth. after the main text, originally those parts which were added after the letter was written already, that is because I added it later to the original entry.
See you on KGS some day.
